Wattie’s Responds to City Mission Call
In response to a call from Christchurch City Mission for non-perishable food, Wattie’s has sent ten pallets of soup (16,200 cans) for the people of Christchurch.
The pallets of food products arrived at the City Mission today.
Marketing Director Mike Pretty says the Wattie’s products would help replenish City Mission supplies after the additional demand following the region’s freezing temperatures.
“We are pleased to be able to respond to Missioner Gorman’s call, and are sending a range of great tasting soups that will hopefully warm up a few peoples’ days.”
