Be a part of Karori Wildlife Sanctuary’s 500-year journey
Are you passionate about conservation? Good with people? Able to commit to at least one day a month? Wellington’s award-winning Karori Wildlife Sanctuary is currently looking for Volunteer Guides and Hosts to help with its increasing visitor numbers, and would love to hear from you.
The Sanctuary has over 400 volunteers assisting in over 28 different workgroups, making it one of the largest volunteer organisations in Wellington.
Guiding and Hosting are crucial, frontline roles, and are an excellent way of getting involved with this groundbreaking conservation project. Full training will be provided. Volunteers must have an interest in conservation, and be or become Sanctuary members.
For more information about volunteering, please contact Rachael Dippie, Marketing Manager, Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, phone 04 920 9204 or email: Rachael[at]sanctuary.org.nz.
