Spike Milligan is coming to Upper Hutt.
Spike Milligan will make his only appearance in the Wellington Region on screen at Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre, Upper Hutt on Thursday 5 October. His movie “ Life and Legacy of Spike Milligan” is part of the Documentary NZ Film Festival. Five movies will show in Upper Hutt on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 October.
Another highlight is “Lomax the Song Hunter” which tells the story of Alan Lomax, the American music collector whose father discovered “Leadbelly.” This movie reveals Lomax’s musical searches around Europe.
“Youthquake” features footage of concerts by the “Stones” and the “Who” while telling the story of the swinging 60’s in London.
