Nigerian flag to fly on Auckland Harbour Bridge
The flag of Nigeria will fly from Auckland Harbour Bridge on Sunday 1 October, in recognition of the Nigerian Independence Day. The flag will be flown from 6:30am until 6:30pm.
Transit considers requests from nations wanting to commemorate their country’s national days. Recently the Maltese, Chilean and Papua New Guinea flags have all flown on the bridge.
