From Wednesday 13 December
onwards, ramp signals are operating at:
•
Papakura on-ramp (southbound)
• Takanini on-ramp
(southbound)
The signals operate only when necessary, during the morning and afternoon peaks and other busy times.
Motorists are advised to check for electronic signs as they approach the on-ramp. When lights are red – stop and wait for the green signal. When lights turn green – one vehicle in each lane goes. The next vehicle in each lane moves forward and waits for their turn.
Motorists are advised to observe the traffic lights and drive with caution while adjusting to the new signals.
