Kilbirnie Festival- Fair Day
This is the big one, the eastern suburbs' biggest event and the main part of the Festival. Given good weather, over 20,000 people, far in excess of the whole eastern suburbs, crowd into Bay Rd and surrounding areas for the huge market, big range of food stalls, the kids area and rides, and to enjoy the stages and music providing a variety of musical and performance styles for all tastes.

Features at the Festival this year are two of the music stages, from the School of Rock, and the San Francisco Bathhouse. The School of Rock stage has a line-up of bands comprised of musicians 7-17 years old, tomorrow's professionals. The San Francisco Bathhouse stage will showcase original bands and performers selected from the best of new bands that have performed at this leading and award-winning Wgtn venue. And look out for other stages catering for some off the other wide range of performances! Kilbirnie Festival Fair Day, Bay Rd, 10am-4pm, Sunday 11 March.

Nappiccino
This is a new one! Promoting the use of cloth nappies, this is a group of environmentally savvy women who invite you to come along, have a good look at their displays, and discuss the options for newborns and toddlers. Nappiccino, Kilbirnie/Lyall Bay Community Centre, 56 Bay Rd, 10-noon, Friday 16 March.

Roller Disco
Get on your wheels and cruise on in! This event is for skates and scooters only. $1 entry, or $3 with skate hire from the Rec Centre's modern range. Come and enjoy skating games, free learn to skate tutorials, and win spot prizes for best costume; all to dance music! Roller Disco, Kilbirnie Recreation Centre, 101 Kilbirnie Cres, 2.30-5.30, Saturday 17 March.
