Lions head to the Great Wellington Wine & Food Festival

When you sample the culinary delights and fine wines at this Saturday’s Great Wellington Wine & Food Festival, be sure to pat yourself on the back for supporting the Lions Eye Institute.

Lions Clubs New Zealand is proudly supporting the Great Wellington Wine and Food Festival this Saturday 17th March at Battle Hill Forest Park on Paekakariki Hill Road.

The Lions Eye Institute will be the recipient of your donation when you park your car at Battle Hill. In addition, members of the Lions Eye Institute will be fundraising throughout the day.

With the support of Lions Clubs New Zealand, the Great Wellington Wine & Food Festival is filling a gap in the Wellington culinary calendar and will cement itself as a must-do for food and wine connoisseurs as well as music lovers.

Lions Clubs New Zealand has made a commitment to provide a world-class eye research and clinical facility for New Zealand – the Lions Eye Institute. On behalf of all New Zealanders, it will be responsible for developing innovative eye treatments, and providing improved education and better access to leading-edge tests and therapies.

So while sipping that tasty beverage, remember to support the Lions Eye Institute this Saturday!
