Learn Fencing At Field Days
23 March, 2007
Come and learn the latest fencing techniques from professional fencing contractors at the South Island Agricultural Field Days
Top fencing professionals will be demonstrating the latest in fencing techniques and wire at the South Island Agricultural Field Days, 28-30 March.
Simon Fuller, chairman of the Fencing Contractors Association New Zealand (FCANZ), will be at site 130, to demonstrate some of the more effective fencing wire techniques.
Mr Fuller said it is important for farmers to keep updating their fencing skills and techniques and to recognise the benefits of using high-quality materials.
“Wiremark is New Zealand-made high quality wire which is easy to work with – you can’t go past that.
“The Wiremark stand will be a one-stop fencing advice shop for all farmers, fencing contractors and lifestyle block owners who are concerned about the quality of their fences, want fencing advice or those who simply want to learn more about fencing,” he said.
For the first time, demonstrations will include electric fencing techniques. Electric fencing was featured in “Fencing the Proven Way” booklet released by Wiremark last year. Complimentary copies of “Fencing the Proven Way” will be available at the Wiremark site.
Mr Fuller, a Waikato fencing contractor, is well-qualified to run these demonstrations and provide advice with 22 years fencing experience. He has also tutored fencing for Dexcel.
Visitors to the Wiremark stand will also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a Deluxe Mystery Break for two, by simply answering some questions at the stand.
Those wanting to learn about or join FCANZ will have the opportunity at the Wiremark stand.
Wiremark is proud to be the founding strategic partner of FCANZ. Wiremark is the quality mark that appears on all New Zealand made fencing wire. Wiremark denotes New Zealand-made wire, specifically made for our unique conditions.
Wiremark-branded wire is sold and distributed through New Zealand’s leading brands, including Hurricane and Cyclone, as well as other New Zealand distributors of fencing wire products.
