Draft Annual Plan submissions close this Friday
Manukau City Council’s Draft Annual Plan is out for consultation, with submissions closing this Friday (20 April 2007).
Manager Strategic and Annual Planning Ken Coulam says submissions are arriving steadily.
“We expect the usual late rush of submissions, based on previous years, but more will be welcomed.
“The numbers received so far (164 to date), are lower than last year when the council consulted on the Long Term Council Community Plan. We anticipated that there would be fewer submissions, given that there are no major issues included for consultation and the draft plan is very much in keeping with last year’s community plan,” Mr Coulam says.
The draft plan and submission forms can be obtained from any library or from the council’s website (www.manukau.govt.nz), and the Customer Centre in Kotuku House, Manukau City Centre.
