Waitakere City Council last week released a summary of the 2655 submissions it received to its controversial [Proposed District] Plan Change 22, which seeks to create a special airport area at Whenuapai.
To assist North Shore residents, many of whom made submissions, copies of the summary are now available at all North Shore City Council's area offices, and at its Albany Village and East Coast Bays libraries from today.

submissions and other documents relating to this issue can
be viewed on www.waitakere.govt.nz
Further submissions in support or opposition to the original submissions can be made to Waitakere City Council before June 1. The hearings will not be heard until later this year or early 2008.
