Angel Assignment in Dome Valley

MEDIA RELEASE

Angel Assignment in Dome Valley

City Impact Church has been in touch with a number of key community organisations from the North Shore and Rodney, to enquire what they viewed as their Number One Need, with the intention being to identify areas in which they could help.

After speaking to the Rodney Police, the number one area of major concern was the death toll in Dome Valley, a notorious stretch of road which has an unacceptable number of fatalities and accidents. Despite many campaigns and new initiatives to reduce the road toll in this area the police have not seen a significant reduction in this deadly issue. In response to this statement from the Police, a bus load from City Impact Church, Browns Bay, set off with the worthy task of affecting change and saving lives.

Outreach Director, Dean Payn says “Prayer is powerful and is the ultimate solution to this horrendous problem. What is a seemingly an impossible task for our police is very achievable for God. We know that our commitment to pray in this area will result in a dramatic reduction in the road accidents and fatalities in the Dome Valley. I assure you this time next year the statistics won’t be the same.”

In addition to prayer, reflective angels were placed as a special reminder of the prayer covering it had received. City Impact Church intends to continue praying for the Dome Valley, and looks forward to the positive change this will make.
