Another National Accolade
For Ngaa Mahia Rehia
The Property Council of New Zealand has confirmed what most people in Manurewa already know: Manurewa Aquatic Centre – Ngaa Mahia Rehia is a fantastic facility.
The aquatic centre received a prestigious merit award in the Tourism and Leisure category of the Property Council of New Zealand Rider Hunt Awards held recently.
Director of Community Ian Maxwell is delighted the council facility has won yet another award:
“Ngaa Mahia Rehia is a superb facility and has featured in national architectural magazines, attracting accolades for its user-friendly and innovative design.
“This award is the latest in a
long line which shows the level of excellence the council
consistently is achieving in new community
facilities.”
Opened in July 2005, the new leisure
centre includes a 25m FINA accredited indoor pool and a 25m
leisure pool, a learn-to-swim pool, splash pool and fitness
centre.
