BUSWAY TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 4 TO FRIDAY 10 AUGUST
Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Buswayconstruction (weather permitting).
RAMP AND LINK CLOSURES:
ONEWA RD
Sunday 5 & Monday 6 August(contingency closure)
Onewa Rdsouthbound on-ramp closed overnight from 10pmuntil 5amthe following morning to allow for a traffic switch
· Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound on-ramp
· This closure will only take place if weather postpones earlier planned works
Sunday 5 – Tuesday 7 August (contingency closure)
Onewa Rdeastbound closed from 10pmuntil 5amthe following morning for island removal
· Sylvan Ave north and southbound will also be closed
· Diversion via Lake Rd
· This closure will only take place if weather postpones earlier planned works
ESMONDE RD
Monday 6 August (contingency 7 August)
SH1 Esmonde Rdnorthbound on-ramps closed from 9amuntil 3pmthe following morning for catch pit repairs
· Diversion via Northcote Rd northbound on-ramp
TRISTRAM AVE
Sunday 5 – Thursday 9 August (contingency closure)
SH1 Tristram Avesouthbound off-ramp closed from 10pmuntil 5amthe following morning for barrier removal
· Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp
· This closure will only take place if weather postpones earlier planned works
CONSTELLATION DR
Sunday 5 August (contingency 6 – 8 August)
SH1 Constellation Drsouthbound on-ramp closed from 10pmuntil 5amthe following morning for barrier removal
· Diversion via Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive over bridges or interchanges are closed at the same time and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
