Dick Quax ahead in latest Mayoralty Poll
Dick Quax is pleased that a poll out today shows that he is the leading candidate to take over the Manukau mayoralty in October's local body election.
A poll by Lysander Research of 638 Manukau voters showed that Cr Quax was 5% ahead of his nearest rival Len Brown.
Dick Quax proclaimed himself happy with the poll but said it is early days yet and the battle for the mayoralty was just beginning.
"I'll be out there fighting hard for every vote. There are still plenty of uncommitted voters out there and my team & I will be campaigning hard to build on this solid support base".
