I am profoundly disturbed to see the story on the front page of the Dompost about the secret deal between Mayor Prendergast and property developer Terry Serepisos who owns Phoenix.
I and other Councillors have not been informed or told about the cost to the ratepayers. I want to know what the Mayor has paid to get an autograph of David Beckham with other peoples' money? Where is the accountability with such behaviour?
