Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 22 to Friday 28 September

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week's proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

ONEWA RD Sunday 23 September SH1 Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am for sealing works. * Sylvan Ave northbound and southbound and Onewa Rd eastbound and westbound between Bruce St and the motorway will also be closed at the same times * Diversion via Stafford Rd or Esmonde Rd northbound off-ramp * Contingency closure 24 and 27 September

NORTHCOTE RD Sunday 23 September SH1 Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp closed overnight from 9.30pm until 5am for barrier movements. * Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp

Monday 24 September - Monday 8 October Left turn from SH1 southbound off-ramp onto Northcote Rd closed from 5am Monday 24 September for resurfacing. * Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp or Tristram Ave southbound off-ramp

TRISTRAM AVE Sunday 23 - Tuesday 25 September (contingency closures) SH1 Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for road widening. * This closure will only take place if weather postpones earlier planned works * Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
