Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 29 September to Friday 5 october

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

ONEWA RD Sunday 30 September SH1 Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am for island sealing.

- Sylvan Ave northbound and southbound and Onewa Rd eastbound (from Bruce St to the motorway) and westbound will be closed

- Diversion via Stafford Rd or Esmonde Rd northbound off-ramp

- Contingency closure 1 - 4 October

ESMONDE RD_ Sunday 30 September – Thursday 4 October SH1 Esmonde Rd northbound on-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for landscaping.

- Diversion via Northcote Rd northbound on-ramp

NORTHCOTE RD Sunday 30 September – Thursday 4 October SH1 Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for road upgrading.

- Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp

Sunday 30 September – Thursday 4 October SH1 Northcote Rd northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for landscaping.

- Diversion via Esmonde Rd or Tristram Ave northbound off-ramp

TRISTRAM AVE Sunday 30 September and Monday 1 October SH1 Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for road widening.

- Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp

- Contingency closure 2 - 4 October

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
