Wellington Zoo prepares for huge kids party
Children from all over the Wellington region will descend on Wellington Zoo this Sunday 2 March 2008 as part of national Children's Day celebrations, Wellington Zoo's Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, Marina Greco announced today.
"Children's Day is a real celebration, it is a fun day out at the Zoo for the whole family and we have lots of fun entertainment planned this year. It is our favourite day of the year as everyone who comes in has such a great time."
"Entry to Wellington Zoo on Children's Day costs just $1 for under 17's. This year Children's Day is going to be very exciting we have live entertainment lined up in the Zoo's new Wild Theatre with a range of musical and interactive fun," said Marina.
Our event partners, Classic Hits, will be on site, there will be giveaways from Tip Top, face painting by Body FX, and loads of animal talks and activities scheduled throughout the day.
