SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing traffic bulletin
Sunday 4 - Thursday 8 May
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closures for work on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) as part of the Manukau Harbour Crossing project.
Closures will be in place for one or two nights between Sunday 4 May and Thursday 8 May:
Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive between the Coronation Road roundabout and Miro Road closed each night from 9pm until 5am for barrier movement and pavement construction.
Detour via Coronation Road to Walmsley Road and Mahunga Drive.
Rimu Road northbound on-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am for barrier and screen installation.
Detour via Coronation Road northbound
on-ramp.
If any of the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps or interchanges are closed at the same time.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in place. Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
