Wotzon.com launches a first in online video presentation in Wellington.
Wellington’s biggest event website, Wotzon.com, have combined their creative talents with Fonetik Films to launch Wotzon.comTV - a New Zealand first ‘online video platform’ for Wellington.
The initial launch of Wotzon.comTV [www.wotzon.com/TV] will debut four new weekly shows [each 3-5 minutes long], hosted by intrepid reporter, Matt Lund, that will showcase the diverse aspects of this vibrant city.
The shows will be produced and directed by Mike Hohaia and Gary Davies of Wellington’s Fonetik Films. Also on launch will be 'Matt's Blog' which is an entertaining and candid insider’s view into Matt's life as Wellington's biggest soon-to-be celebrity. It gets behind-the-scenes of events, as well as the adventures of the Fonetik Films crew.
Fraser Carson, Managing Director of Wotzon.com, is excited by the collaboration and innovative development with Fonetik Films. He believes that “offering online video segments showcasing Wellington enhances Wotzon.com’s already extensive covering of Wellington events online”.
These shows will also be placed on YouTube and can be embedded on any website page – providing a brand new opportunity for Wellington organisations to have their own ‘unique’ Wotzon.comTV show.
Wotzon.com is promoted as the authority for Wellington events online. With an average of 35,000 visitors per month, Wotzon.com expects to add value for its users by offering online videos and other innovations going forward.
Established in 1999, Fonetik Films has produced short films, digital feature films, and most recently a TV Show. Wotzon.comTV’s host Matt Lund, who oozes the ‘Wellington vibe’, is the face of the four shows, with each show highlighting different aspects of Wellington, from events and public opinions to fantastic upcoming and permanent attractions – some that are well known and some hidden treasures, just waiting to be revealed.
