SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing
The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that the following changes will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) and surrounding roads:
Changes will be in place from Monday 1 September for approximately eleven months.
Rimu Road overbridge closed to through traffic travelling eastbound from Mangere Bridge village to Mahunga Drive.
Detour via Coronation Road and Walmsley Road.
Rimu Road between the Coronation Road roundabout and the northbound on-ramp will remain open for motorway access only. Similarly, the SH20 Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp will remain open throughout.
The work is to replace the Rimu Road overbridge.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detour while the closure is in place.
The NZ Transport Agency regrets any inconvenience caused.
