SH1 Northern Motorway

The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that, weather permitting, the following closures will take place on the Northern Motorway (SH1) next week:

Sunday 7 - Thursday 11 September Onewa Road northbound on and off-ramps and southbound on-ramp closed from 9.30pm until 5am for paving works.

Onewa Road and Sylvan Avenue will also be closed 9pm – 5am.

Detour via Stafford Road or Northcote Road Interchange ramps.

Sunday 7 September (contingency Monday 8 September) SH1 Tristram Avenue southbound on and off-ramps closed from 9.30pm until 5am for line marking removal.

Detour via Northcote Road Interchange ramps.

WEEKEND CLOSURE From 9pm on Friday 12 September until 5am on Monday 15 September including all day Saturday and Sunday. Onewa Road northbound and southbound on-ramps closed for Busway and pavement works.

Detour via Sylvan Avenue or Lake Road to Northcote Road Interchange ramps.

If any of the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps or interchanges are closed at the same time.

Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in place.

The NZ Transport Agency regrets any inconvenience caused.
