Halloween Mayhem & Malarky

Correction: Weather: The witches will perform in the most dastardly of weather however should there be a hurricane the event will be postponed until Sunday the 2nd November.

The Mount Eden Village Mainstreet and Business Association present:
HALLOWEEN MAYHEM & MALARKY

Calling all children ‘THE WITCHES ARE BACK’

…so dress up as your favourite Halloween character and get ready to create some havoc!

The popular family event that provides interactive Halloween entertainment returns to Mt. Eden for its fifth record year on Saturday November, 2008.

Mt. Eden calls on all children to dress up their favourite Halloween critter – a spook, a witch, a bat, a zombie or even a little black cat.

Featuring a cast of seven talented witches and wizards, this year will again let kids participate in the spooky entertainment created by some of Auckland’s leading actors and theatre makers. Activities include:

FEAR FACTOR – taste the food (if you dare) prepared by the infamous west coast hag Emmy Lou Black Lips.

SPOOKY FUTURE – have your fortune told by the hysterical and the uncanningly accurate Freakella the Fortune Witch.

BATS ON STIX – make your very own bat puppet to take home with Crewellini the Craft Witch

CAST A SPELL – help the naughty egor cast witchy spells with the strangest and most unbelievable of ingredients

LOOK & LISTEN – groove to the spooky mixes of DJ Fraidy Kat and have a zombie make-over by the transformation witches.
