SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing

The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that, weather permitting, the following closure will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) this evening.

Closures will be in place for one or two nights between Sunday 21 September and Friday 26 September (unless otherwise stated). Ramps will remain open where required for detour routes.

Rimu Road northbound on-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am for pavement construction.

Detour via Coronation Road to Coronation Road northbound on-ramp.

Rimu Road eastbound between Coronation Road roundabout and Rimu Road on-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am for barrier work.

Detour eastbound via Coronation Road to Walmsley Road and Mahunga Drive.

Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive westbound between Miro Road and Coronation Road roundabout closed from 9pm until 5am for barrier work.

Detour eastbound via Mahunga Drive to Walmsley Road and Coronation Road.

Walmsley Road southbound off-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am from Sunday 21 – Thursday 25 September for barrier movement.

Detour via Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road southbound off-ramp to Mahunga Drive and Walmsley Road.

Coronation Road northbound on-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am for barrier movement.

Detour via Coronation Road to Rimu Road and Rimu Road on-ramp.

All motorway lanes southbound between Rimu Road overbridge and Walmsley Road interchange closed from 10pm until 5am on Sunday 21 September for road realignment and barrier work (contingency 22 – 25 September).

Detour via Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road southbound off-ramp to Mahunga Drive, Walmsley Road and Walmsley Road southbound on-ramp.

If the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps are closed at the same time

Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detour routes.

The NZ Transport Agency regrets any inconvenience caused.
