Overnight motorway closures
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements and maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed on or before the contingency date.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Northbound motorway lanes between Onewa Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp 26 – 27 November
Contingency: 30 November
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
· Curran Street on-ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge lanes one and two northbound 26 – 27 November (approx. 7pm – 5.30am)
SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Highbrook Drive southbound off-ramp 26 November
Contingency: 2 December
· State Highway 2 northbound off-ramp 26 November
Contingency: 11 December
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1)
· Nelson Street northbound off-ramp 26 – 28 November (10.30pm – 5.30am)
· SH1 to SH16 link northbound 26 – 28 November (10.30pm – 5.30am)
· Northbound motorway lanes between Symonds Street/Port/Wellesley Street off-ramp and Wellington Street on-ramp 26 – 28 November (10.30pm – 5.30am)
Contingency: 28 November
· Port to SH16 link westbound 25 – 26 November
· Port to SH1 link northbound 25 – 26 November
Contingency: 11 December
STATE HIGHWAY 16 AND 18
· All lanes between Royal Road, Oreil Avenue and Don Buck Road 26 – 27 November
Contingency: 11 December
SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
· Queenstown Road northbound off-ramp 26 – 29 November
Contingency: 30 November
