SH20 full motorway closure
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following overnight closures on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) for work to demolish the old Rimu Road overbridge.
Closures will take place over three nights on Sunday 7, Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 December from 7:30pm until 5am the following morning. Detour routes in the local area will be in operation from 6:30pm.
· Northbound
motorway lanes between Coronation Road off-ramp and Rimu
Road on-ramp
· Southbound motorway lanes between Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive off-ramp and Walmsley Road on-ramp
· Coronation Road northbound on-ramp
Contingency date: Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11
December
Please follow the signposted detour routes via Mahunga Drive or Coronation Road.
