Overnight motorway closures 18 – 22 January 2009

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements and maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed on or before the contingency date.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Northbound lanes between Esmonde Road off-ramp and Northcote Road on-ramp 18 January (11pm – 5am)
• Esmonde Road northbound on-ramp 18 – 19 January (10pm – 5am)
• Northbound lanes between Onewa Road off-ramp and Esmonde Road on-ramp 19 – 20 January (10pm – 5am) (including Onewa Road on-ramp)
• Northbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off-ramp and Silverdale on-ramp 21 January (10.30pm – 5am)
• Southbound lanes between Esmonde Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp 20 – 22 January (10pm – 5am) (including Esmonde Road on-ramp)

Contingency: 25 January

• Northbound motorway lanes between Silverdale off-ramp and Silverdale on-ramp 22 January
• Silverdale northbound off-ramp 22 January (will be open when motorway lanes are closed)

Contingency: 26 – 27 January

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
• Curran Street on-ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge lanes one and two northbound 18 – 22 January (7pm – 5.30am)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1)
• Symonds Street northbound off-ramp 20 – 22 January
• SH1 – Port link northbound 20 – 22 January
• SH16 – Port link 18 – 20 January
• Port – SH16 link 20 – 22 January

Contingency: 26 January

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Mt Wellington northbound off-ramp 20 January
• Highbrook northbound off-ramp 19 – 22 January

Contingency: 27 January

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
• Te Atatu Road westbound on-ramp 19 – 20 January
• Lincoln Road on-ramp westbound 19 January
• Lincoln Road on-ramp eastbound 18 January

Contingency: 11 February

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
• Northbound lanes between Puhinui Road off-ramp and Massey Road on-ramp 18 January

Contingency: 19 January

• Neilson Street northbound on and off-ramps 18 – 22 January

Contingency: 25 January

STATE HIGHWAY 16 AND 18
• All lanes between Royal Road, Oreil Avenue and Don Buck Road 18 – 22 January

Contingency: 5 February
