Overnight motorway closures 8 – 12 February 2009
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the
following closures for motorway improvements and
maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless
otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be
completed on or before the contingency date.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Southbound lanes between Esmonde Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp 9 – 10 February (10.30pm – 5am)
· Esmonde Road southbound on-ramp 9 – 10 February (10pm – 5am)
· Oteha Valley Road southbound on-ramp 10 February
· Silverdale southbound on-ramp 11 February
· Northbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off-ramp and Silverdale on-ramp 11 – 12 February
· Greville Road southbound on-ramp 11 February
Contingency: 15 February
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
· Curran Street on-ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge lanes one and two northbound 8 – 12 February (7pm – 5.30am)
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1)
· Port – SH1 link southbound 9 – 12 February
· Wellesley Street northbound off-ramp 9 – 12 February

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
· Southbound lanes between Takanini off-ramp and Takanini on-ramp 9 February
· Northbound lanes between Takanini off-ramp and Hill Road on-ramp 10 February
Contingency: 11 February
· Mt Wellington northbound on-ramp 10 February
Contingency: 13 March
NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
· Great North Road westbound off-ramp 9 – 12 February
· Royal Road eastbound on-ramp 10 – 12 February
· Te Atatu Road eastbound on-ramp 9 – 11 February
· Rosebank Road eastbound on-ramp 12 February
· Te Atatu Road westbound off-ramp 12 February

SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
· Neilson Street northbound off-ramp 8 – 12 February
· Northbound motorway lanes between Neilson Street off-ramp and Hillsborough Road 8 – 12 February
