Free shuttle bus
service for Te Matatini National Kapa Haka Festival
Environment Bay of Plenty will run a free shuttle bus service for entrants to the Te Matatini National Kapa Haka Festival from Thursday 19 February until Sunday 22 February 2009.
Buses will leave from the ‘shuttle bus‘ point on Truman Lane, Baypark, every 10 to 15 minutes between 10:15am and 3:30pm on all four days of the event.
The buses will travel from Baypark Stadium to the Mount Hot Pools via Bayfair and the Mount I-Site (information centre) and back.
The service will be free to passengers wearing a coloured wrist band which is given to all entrants upon registration at the event.
The bus operating company will also provide a person at the bus pick up/drop off point to answer any questions.
Bayline will be operating the buses.
