Tender Process Auckland Integrated Ticketing
The Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA) is currently conducting a tender for an integrated ticketing solution for Auckland. As the tender process remains open at this stage, ARTA is unable to provide further comment on procurement related queries under terms of confidentiality agreed with all tenderers.
ARTA has an independent probity auditor in place to ensure the integrity of the process. The auditor’s duties include monitoring both the processes of ARTA and the conduct of tenderers in regard to the confidentiality and progress of the process.
Given this confidentiality requirement, ARTA is surprised that business interests associated with one of the tenderers have made public comment in regard to the tender. (Infotech 9 March 2009)
ARTA expects to make an announcement on the successful tenderer in the coming weeks.
