Extra trains to Mt
Smart as NRL season kicks off
On Saturday 14 March, rugby league fans can avoid parking hassles and take the MAXX train to Mt Smart Stadium to watch the Vodafone Warriors take on the Parramatta Eels, kicking off at 7.30pm.
Additional train services will operate between Britomart and Papakura to Penrose station before and after the game. Warriors fans should allow plenty of time to get to their seat, as it is a 15-minute walk from Penrose train station to the stadium.
Tickets will be available from both the Papakura and Britomart Ticket Offices and on board the train. Normal train fares to and from all stations apply.
Fans can also use regular bus services traveling via Great South Rd past Penrose station, and 008 or 009 Crosstown services traveling via Mt Smart Stadium, to get them to the game.
Warriors fans planning to use public transport to and from Mt Smart Stadium can get more information from MAXX on (09) 366 6400 or at www.maxx.co.nz
