Still a chance to be a winner in the
2009 Road Safety Innovation Awards
Got what it takes to be a leader in road safety, or know someone who does? If so, the organising committee of New Zealand's premier road safety awards programme wants to hear from you soon.
Entries close in a few weeks (8 July) for the 2009 Road Safety Innovation and Achievement Awards.
The winner in each award category will receive a cash prize of $2,500, and a representative from each winning entry will receive free travel to attend the awards ceremony in Auckland.
Entries are open to individuals, organisations and communities for innovations and outstanding contributions to road safety.
Awards will be made in five categories this year:
• Education
•
Community
• Organisations
• Vehicle-Based
•
Engineering
So if you can show proven innovation, achievement, commitment and sustainability in your road safety initiatives, let us know and earn recognition for your efforts.
Since 2003 these awards have recognised road safety innovations initiated by individuals, organisations and communities. The awards are funded by the NZ Transport Agency, and administered by an organising committee with representatives from the Automobile Association, Police, NZTA and ACC.
