Destination Manawatu wins Bid for the Holden Nationals at Easter in 2011
A bid led by Destination Manawatu has secured the
20th Anniversary Holden Nationals 2011 for Manawatu at
Easter in 2011.
The bi-annual event will bring
400-500 people to the region and over 120 plus cars will be
on display at Arena Manawatu for public viewing. Other
venues and activities are still to be confirmed but the
impact across the Region is likely to be
significant.
Holden Enthusiasts Club member, Malcolm Burr,
says that the feedback from this year's National Delegates
was that the bid presentation, prepared by Destination
Manawatu, was "the most professional that they had ever
seen".
