Wellington’s newest theatre company, Energy Theatre, presents Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, a glitter-boots extravaganza this month at The Big Kumara.
If you liked Rocky Horror, then you won’t want to miss this. Set in outer space at the sleaziest bar on the planet, the stars of Saucy Jack’s cabaret are being murdered with a sequinned sling-back shoe. As the Space Vixens search for the sling-back killer amongst the crew, the show must go on, and tonight the bar is filled with some slightly strange characters, to say the least.
Since its creation in 1995 at the Edinburgh Festival, Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens has consistently delighted people with its explosive energy and its unique relationship with the audience.
Now it is your chance to get hooked and 'take it where it's easy, shake it where it's sleazy'.
Directed by Energy Theatre’s Matt Bentley, this stunning cast promises you a night of entertainment with a mesh of music, dance and glitter-boots which, according to the Space Vixens, could just save your life.
