Fun
for the whole family at Papatoetoe’s Family
Festival
The Papatoetoe Family Festival on Saturday, 5 September promises a day of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family.
Come along to the Allan Brewster Recreation Centre and nearby Stadium Reserve to enjoy cultural performances, food stalls, gymnastic displays, great entertainment on the outdoor stage, community information stalls and a free bouncy castle.
For those who enjoy a little retail therapy, local retailers will be holding a market day which will run alongside festival activities. Visitors can also get a taste of India at the old relocated Papatoetoe Train Station where Bollywood-style movies will be showing throughout the day.
The aim of the festival, which is held in association with the Rotary Club of Papatoetoe West Inc., is to bring the Papatoetoe community together. It is generously supported by Manukau Leisure Services Ltd, the Genesis Youth Programme, the Old Papatoetoe Business Association and Papatoetoe New World.
