Traffic shift at SH18 Hobsonville Road
The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that the SH18 lanes on Hobsonville Road that motorists usually travel on, were moved yesterday (Sunday 6 December).
Traffic has been shifted south onto the permanent westbound lanes of the new SH18 motorway near Monterey Park and Upper Harbour Bridge. There is also a new entrance to Monterey Park from the lanes.
A new overbridge will be constructed that will provide local road access over the new motorway, to Buckley Avenue. The temporary diversion is in place so that work can progress to build the new Squadron Drive Interchange as part of the SH18 Hobsonville Deviation and SH16 Brigham Creek Extension project.
The NZ Transport Agency thanks you for your patience and co-operation while this essential work takes place.
