A MyLotto winner
from Auckland, who bought a Power Dip online last week, was
today celebrating after claiming his $500,000 share of Lotto
First Division.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, works shift work, so finds MyLotto very handy to be able to purchase his weekly Lotto ticket.
After the Saturday night draw, the player checked his emails on the Sunday to find a prize notification note from MyLotto.
“I called out to my wife, ‘I think we have won a big prize!’ We then opened my MyLotto account and it was a great feeling to see six numbers circled on my ticket.
“My wife and I were very excited, as we had recently decided that we needed to get a bigger house. Now instead of needing to call the bank manager, he will be calling me!”
The first place the winner plans to shop for his new house is also online. “I am already browsing the real estate websites,” he said.
