One of the most anticipated Triathlons in years will be broadcast live on TV ONE this Sunday.
The annual Takapuna Sprint Triathlon features one of the strongest women’s field ever assembled in NZ and the men’s race will see the two biggest home-grown rivals going head-to-head.
Bevan Docherty and Kris Gemmell headline the Elite Men’s Race and at least six world class athletes will be competing in the Elite Women’s Race including Andrea Hewitt who was ranked 3rd in last year’s World Championship series.
Live coverage of the event billed as ‘The Street Fight in Takapuna’ starts at 3:30pm on TV ONE this Sunday with Toni Street and Jordan Vandermade.
Triathletes Hamish Carter and Mark Watson will provide expert commentary.
