An Emergency Exercise Will Be Held At Wellington Airport Between 09:30 And 12:30 Hours On Wednesday 31 March 2010.
Wellington International Airport Limited is required under the provisions of the Civil Aviation Act to conduct exercises to evaluate the Airport Emergency Response Plan.
The emergency exercise will involve emergency services and related agencies.
All flights will continue as normal.
There will be no disruption to services at the airport although there may be minor interruptions to road traffic.
This is not a media event and thus will not require any information to be broadcast from media organisations. If you have any enquiries from concerned members of the public, please reassure them that it is only an exercise.
