300k Wager On Storm Icing On Cake For NRL Betting

300k Wager On Storm To Ice A Record Round Of NRL Betting!

A big-time punter with leading bookmaker Centrebet has unleashed a staggering $286,000.00 on the Melbourne Storm at $1.39 to beat Manly tonight in what has been a record high round of betting on the NRL!

Centrebet’s Neil Evans said the near $300,000.00 bet on the Storm had seen them tumble into $1.34, while Manly has eased dramatically from an opening $2.67 right out to $3.30! The Storm opened betting last week at $1.48 favourite!

“A short time after this massive bet, we took another $25,000.00 on the Storm at $1.36, and $15,000.00 and $5,000.00 at the – 7.5 Line at $1.91,” he said. “The Line has moved from – 5.5 out to – 7.5, and is set to get longer by kick-off. There’s not a punter in the world that thinks Melbourne will lose back-to-back games, and no-one around the Storm forgets the 40-0 humiliation to Manly in the 2008 grand final!”

“The move on Melbourne to win tonight is one of the biggest plunges of the season so far!”

Evans said a record round of NRL betting had been fuelled by a massive plunge on Parramatta to beat a weakened Souths yesterday, with the Eels firming from $2.15 to start a heavily-backed $1.75 favourite! “The money this round is running into millions, and punters are coming home with a wet sail after they missed badly on the Gold Coast at home to the Dragons in the Friday night opener,” he said. “Incredibly, several hundred thousand was wagered on the two Friday night games alone!”

Melbourne eased from $4.50 out to $5.50 in premiership betting after losing to the Titans last week, while Parramatta is now $14.00 into $12.00 after one client bet $5,000.00 at $14.00 last week to win the premiership!
