Capital Half Million Win For Two Lotto Players From Wellington
Two Lotto players from Wellington will have happy memories of this May Day after winning a $500,000 share of Lotto First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Whitcoulls Cuba Mall and Karori Mall Take Note & Lotto in Wellington.
Powerball First Division has jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $5 million next week.
Strike Four was also not struck tonight and will jackpot to $500,000 for next week’s draw.
Tonight’s other big winner was Athal Muir from Katikati who spun up a $100,000 Shopping Spree prize on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Graham's Paper Plus in Tokoroa. The serial number is 706 45918222-20XX.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet."
