One Week Left to Comment on Draft Annual Plan
One Week Left to Comment on Draft Annual Plan
The public has one week left to comment on the Northland Regional Council’s plans for the next year.
A one-month public submission period on the Council’s Draft Annual Plan 2010-2011 ends at 3pm on Monday 10 May.
As of today (subs: Monday 03 May), the Regional Council had received more than 220 submissions.
The 116-page Draft Annual Plan largely follows a path set out last year when the NRC adopted its Long Term Council Community Plan for 2009-2019.
More than 60,000 copies of a 12-page summary of the Draft Plan – complete with a submission form – were distributed to homes throughout the region early last month.
Several hundred copies of the full Draft Plan were also sent out to interested parties and copies are also available on CD from all Council offices and the Council’s website www.nrc.govt.nz/draftannualplan
