A ‘first impressions’ survey shows that the community of park goers love Trafalgar Park, Aldo Miccio says.
While at the Makos game last Saturday, the crowd was given the opportunity to give some initial feedback on the performance of the upgraded Trafalgar Park. Short survey forms were placed on the seats in the stands and given at the door. Asking patrons to rate the ,easy access through the new Gates, facilities such as the new toilets, the new media box and of course the new all weather turf.
“Every single form that was returned was positive about the upgraded grounds,” Aldo Miccio says. “People were no doubt doubly enthused after the fantastic Makos performance and the weather!
“This is the sort of facility I hoped we could achieve when elected in 2007,” he says. “Our goal behind our work to upgrade the park was to protect this important multi-functional facility for the future, and for the community to love it, and after Saturday it is clear that they do.
“Well done to everyone involved - councillors, staff, architects, engineers, construction team and landscapers alike! You have all done Nelson proud.”
