Auckland, New Zealand: - Following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Christchurch and surrounding districts this morning at 4.35am, Kordia staff have been focused on ensuring the integrity of the network in the South Island.
There are no major network impacts. Kordia’s major broadcast facility for Christchurch (Sugarloaf) has not sustained any damage and is operational. Other sites around the South Island are operational.
