Lotto Brings Long Weekend Celebrations
Lotto Brings Long Weekend Celebrations To Blenheim And Hastings
The long weekend has brought Lotto joy to two players from Blenheim and Hastings who have both won $500,000 with Lotto First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
The winning tickets were purchased at Blenheim New World and Pak N Save Hastings.
These two wins come just a few days after a South Auckland father collected the biggest Lotto Powerball prize in NZ Lotteries’ history, with a massive $28.7 million paid out after a 16 week jackpot run.
Lotto Powerball jackpotted tonight and will be worth an estimated $5 million next week.
Strike Four was struck tonight by a player who bought a ticket from Paper Plus Meadowbank in Auckland, also winning $500,000.
Meanwhile, Paul Moody from the small central North Island town of Maungatapu spun and won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington this evening.
Saturday’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Tamatea Pak ‘n Save in Napier. The serial number is 879-066725122-20xx.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet."
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
