Farewell from Enterprising Manukau
Farewell from Enterprising Manukau
Enterprising
Manukau closes its doors on tomorrow after 20 years.
It reopens on Monday under the banner of the Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development agency. The faces are nearly all the same and we are, for the time being, in the same place. As the French say: “plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose”.
The outgoing board of trustees and chief executive, Gaelle Deighton, wish to thank all the friends, clients, suppliers and staff of Enterprising Manukau for their support over the past 20 years. Our organisation has led the discipline of economic development in New Zealand since before the term was in widespread use.
We believe our work to help aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, small businesses grow into bigger ones and large businesses reap the benefits of scale and opportunity has been at the forefront of New Zealand practice. We think it has made a difference and hope that our work will be carried on by a new board of trustees appointed by Auckland City.
We wish our friends and supporters all the best for a new era of economic development and business support services in Auckland and look forward to continue to work with you in the future.
