Registrations open for Snowplanet’s competition

Registrations open for Snowplanet’s Freestyle skiing and snowboarding competition

Keen skiers and snowboarders can now register for Snowplanet’s Freestyle ski and Snowboard competition that is set to take place on Friday 19 November.

Top New Zealand snowboarder James Hamilton will be on hand to judge the freestyle snowboard categories along with seasoned instructor Jamie Lane.

Competition categories include:
FREESTYLE SKI
Girls: 15 years and under
Boys: 15 years and under
Women: 16 years and over
Men: 16 years and over

FREESTYLE SNOWBOARD
Girls 15 years and under
Boys 15 years and under
Women: 16 years and over
Men: 16 years and over

Members of the public are encouraged to attend as the event promises plenty of action and entertainment for the whole family. There is no entry fee for those wishing to watch the event – free to view from Snowplanet’s restaurant area.

Registrations can be made online at www.snowplanet.conz or at Snowplanet’s Silverdale facility up until 6.15pm on Friday 19 November. The competition kicks off at 7.00 p.m.
