Santa’s coming to the Pre-Christmas Farmers’ Market

Ho-Ho-Ho!! - Santa’s coming to the Pre-Christmas Farmers’ Market

Santa will make an appearance at the special Farmers’ Market to be held on Thursday 23rd December from 4pm-7pm. With a lot of pressing engagements to be part of this week, the market still managed to secure the big man in red to come along and chat with the kids, encourage Mum and Dad to spend their last few dollars on making the Christmas lunch a meal to remember!!

Held in the usual premises, Waikoko Gardens at the A & P Showgrounds will house upwards of 35 of the regular stallholders to allow customers, locals and visitors to Hawke’s Bay the opportunity to buy their produce so it is at its freshest for Christmas Day.

Mark Verry, Chairperson of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers Market says “this is a great opportunity to get the kids out in the evening, buy a pizza for dinner, listen to the busker and do that last minutes shopping, with the bonus of getting a picture with Santa before he starts packing his sleigh”

For those last minute gift ideas, glaze for the ham, quince jelly for the cheeseboard or strawberries for the pavlova, come along and support our local growers at this special evening market on Thursday night.
