Emotional Support for Flood Trauma – NZ Web Page
Launched
Skylight has put up a flood/trauma support
page that features a range of trauma recovery information,
key links, practical support resources and downloads that
will help people support family and friends in Queensland,
and for those distressed and affected here in New Zealand.
It also features bereavement support, as well as support
activities and links for children and teens who've been
impacted by these horrific floods.
It will be kept up to
date and available for the next few months.
Skylight is
New Zealand's well respected specialist loss, grief and
trauma support agency for children, teens, adults and
families. We provided extensive support resources for
Australian bushfire victims, Christchurch earthquake
families and those impacted by the West Coast mining
disaster.
