Limited Trains Services Planned for Thursday 27 January
On Thursday 27 January limited train services will operate on all lines between 10.00am and 2.00pm and buses will replace trains on the Onehunga Line.
The reduced service levels are as a result of an organised paid meeting to enable the Rail Maritime Transport Union (RMTU) to discuss the finalisation of a two year collective agreement with its members. Veolia Transport accepts this meeting is necessary and is being conducted with the agreement of our client Auckland Transport.
Graham Sibery, Managing Director of Veolia Transport Auckland acknowledges that reducing the frequency of the trains may inconvenience some customers on the day.
“However it is important that the union is given the opportunity to discuss the offer with as many staff as possible and make a timely decision,” Mr Sibery says.
Veolia Transport apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused. Please check the times below and the MAXX website before travelling.
